In Defense of the Disloyal Gameez

The History of Beaujolais

Thursday, November 21st @ 6pm (Beaujolais Day)

Join us for this Beaujolais Day celebration seminar! Gamay gets a bad rap. Banished in 1395 by Phillip II, but given refuge in the hills of Beaujolais, modern Gamay can produce wines on par with the best village wines of Burgundy. Don't be misled by the highly marketed Beaujolais Nouveau, Beaujolais Cru and Village wines are absolutely worthy of your time and table.
