Wines of the Adriatic Coast
Italian and Balkin Wines that Reflect Unique Terroir
Roughly as wide as Lake Michigan, the Adriatic Sea divides the Italian peninsula from Eastern Europe's Balkin Countries of Europe. While only about 100 miles apart, the geology and grape gene pools on either side of this narrow sea are dramatically different -- creating exciting wines on both sides!
We invite you to join us Tuesday, October 6th at 6:00pm as we cruise this Mediterranean inlet and explore the terroir, wine grapes, wines in a 90-minute taste-and-learn seminar featuring Italian and Balkin grape varieties and wines that define the styles and influences along the idyllic shorelines.
