#6 - Champagne

Tuesday, Dec 16th @ 6:00 pm

It's the holiday season and what better time to pop a few bottles of bubbly and discover what makes this wine region so famous and synonomous with celebration. Join us for a 90+ minute taste-and-learn discussion of the history and appellation structure of Champagne as we explore how this complex wine went from evil villain to the hero of good times and celebration around the globe.

French Wine Foundations Series Season 2:

#7 - Alsace

Tuesday, Jan 13th @ 6:00 pm

Tucked in the upper Northeast corner of France, Alsace as a compicated past. Fortunately, its wines and appellations are uncomplicated and amazing, showing off depth and complexity in contrast to what should be a cold, difficult place to grow wine grapes (but isn't...) Jopin us for a 90+ minute taste-and-learn discussion of Alsace and its "Noble" wines and why the grapes here bathe in warmth and sun despite the relatively high northern latitude.

French Wine Foundations Series Season 2:

#8 - Provence

Tuesday, Feb 10th @ 6:00 pm

As we approach spring, what better way to wrap up our second season of our French Wine Foundations series than to showcase some of the finest rosé wines in the world. An international symbol of spring and summer outdoor dining and recreation, Provence rosé wines are crisp, dry, and flavorful "gastonomic" wines that pair well with a broad range of summer dining choices from BBQ to seafood. Join us for a 90+ minute taste-and-learn exploration of the region of Provence and the diverse rosé wines (and white and red wines too).
